Blog Without an Interesting Name

Welcome to my little space of the internet.

I first setup a blog almost 8 years ago.  At the time I thought it would be a good way to exercise my theological muscles as I transitioned out of vocational ministry into the new world of marriage and whatever else my vocation would be.  Really, not much came of it.

A lot has happened in those 8 years.   I’ve turned a technology interest and aptitude into a vocation starting as the first full time employee of Solid Technology Solutions, a tiny Managed Service Provider, into being given the title of CTO, of the now small and growing 10+ employee company.   I’m the husband of an amazing wife and father of a couple of elementary school kids.  Of course I still strive to turn my life in Christ to also be a place where I can foster spiritual growth in others.

So, beyond myself, my life is the coming together of three disparate streams that are surprisingly complimentary.  My aptitude as a technologist, my being as one in Christ and my life as a husband and father.  Intertwined my life is full.

The evolution of this blog to a WordPress site is the mixture of the above as well.   SolidTech needed a WordPress solution for our windows based cloud hosting service.  I needed a better place to post my sermons and more specifically my Sunday School notes.  I also wanted a place to record both personal and technology tidbits beyond the typical facebook post.  So here I am, starting a blog again.   We’ll see if it makes it further than the last attempt!
